"we booked a room to stay as we were attending an event. We were disappointed when we realised the hotel was separate from the venue building with no covered access between the 2 buildings. The hotel was clean and basic. The staff were lovely. Our hairdryer didn’t work, but I used the one in my sisters room and informed them on check out.The breakfast was a tad disappointing as it was dry, but a reasonable choice. "Lives up to it's rating. Looks like the rooms may have been refurbished recently? Carpet looked brand news, beds felt brand new. Faultless stay. Can't comment on breakfast, didnt pay for it. If you live gin the bar has a massive selection and lots of other options. Didnt eat in the restaurant but it was busy which is a good sign.Room was quiet, clean, comfortable, window could open for air, radiator could be adjusted so it was never too hot or cold. Staff were all excellent. Great value. "
