"The beds seemed fine but the air conditioning didn’t work properly. The bedroom overlooked the back where a constant whirring noise from the multiple air con condensers were placed. From time to time, we can smell cigarette smoke even throughout the night. The night that we stayed there was a massive argument outside between a group of men n women which could clearly be heard in the apartment."

"Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."

"Good breakfast. Asked the lady at reception to help me with selecting the right train station for taxi from the app. She selected the wrong one assuring me its correct. With taxi driver’s help who caught an error, we were able to get to the station ontime .Else we would have been late for our train. Staff should be more attentive . If doesnt know, better ask someone else . "

"Great location near Sao Bento train station and other nearby attractions within walking distance. Note that there's about 27 steps up to check-in with a lift for handicap only and then a regular lift, albeit small, for floors above that. Porto is built on steep hills, so it requires some energy, with funiculars, etc. to make it easier in some places. Nevertheless, it's definitely a more than worthwhile place to visit for a few days, with side day trips to Guiermaes and/or Braga also...
