"This hotel did not disappoint! A perfect option for a family stay. The room was well laid out with a fridge and great tea/coffee/biscuits and toiletries provided. Such a fantastic idea having a fully working kitchen on the floor which we could access. We were greeted by very welcoming reception team and our son was given a little quiz to do. It was all very family focused. Would definitely stay again! :)"

"We had paid a £10 pp deposit on the evening meals. When coming to pay the staff claimed no knowledge of our deposits. It is not acceptable to have to make breakfast menu choices the day before. I have never come across this at any other hotel"

"This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."

"The hotel was great - a good sized room, very good value for money and free parking - but the attached bar was disappointing. We returned from an event at c10:30pm to an empty bar and had to ring the bell for service. The lady took some time to appear and immediately told us that she was about to call time - we were the only people in there! 5 people arrived after us - 2 had to plead to be served, the third was told that it was takeaway only and the last 2 were refused service, despite the...
