Though the interior is 10 years old, it was spotlessly clean, and looked and felt brand new, as if no one had ever stayed in it before. "Third stage of our stay in Portugal and an excellent place to finish. Évora is just the right size to explore. The apartment is bright, roomy and airy with a great large terrace/balcony. Hugo, the owner, greeted us on arrival, showed us around and was very helpful. We were comfortable there. Small mini market and lovely friendly restaurant just round the corner. Worth a visit to nearby Arraiolos, home of famous stitched carpets."

"We loved this place, especially the large kitchen and the patio. It was within the old city walls and close to the sights. There is not parking on site, but there is a free parking garage about a 5 minutes walk away. Like most of the stairs in old city centers, the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are steep, but this one had a good hand rail. The bathtub is large and the water is hot and we slept well on the beds."
