"Very nice place, room very spacious and bed comfortable. No microwave, have to pay for a bucket of ice. Very small fridge which could only hold 4 small bottles of water. They don't given enough Towels you have to ask for it. Food not hot, just warm or cold in some cases. Not a whole lot of choices when it comes to food. Only 4 channels for TV with only one channel in English with outdated shows. Friendly and helpful staff. If you want to go anywhere, use Uber or taxi, do not use an agent in...

"For the value a very good hotel. Friendly staff and a 15 minute walk to the metro or a 5 minute bus ride. Limited restaurants but the small restaurant next door great value for both eating in and take out."

Great location and food

"We had a really nice time in Dubai. The Taj was a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool, a great breakfast buffet and a wonderful room. The only problem with our room is that the ceiling was leaking our first morning and they never cleaned the bathtub after they came and fixed it. They also never told me it was fixed. The bathtub was the only way to know they had been in there. The service in the restaurant was impeccable, however room service was very slow (all we ever ordered was Coke Zero) and it never got better. The food at the buffet in the morning was very good and it had food for pretty much everyone. Lastly, the location was great and very central to the tours and the attractions we were there to experience. Overall a great place to stay!"
