"I’m as disappointed with Expedia as I am this hotel. When I made the reservation I clearly indicated it was for two people. It showed there were twin beds. When I got there they said because there was an extra person (my wife) I had to pay $75 extra for that night. I will never use Expedia again. This is the second negative episode in a week I have had with Expedia in which there were a “screw-ups”"

"The staff is very friendly. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. There is a small refrigerator available; make sure to turn on the dedicated switch to power up the refrigerator. A yutaka is available for use. The hotel has a nice bathhouse! There are washing machines & dryers available on site. The breakfast is amazing- a large selection to choose from. "The hotel is at very close proximity (5 min) walk to Fujikyu Highland train station with some options for dining in that area. Overall property is quite clean (seems newly built) and they have free parking in the back. The best of all is that when you open the window in the morning, the view of Fujisan is right in front of your face."

"It’s an older hotel, seems to be going through remodel. Has its small town charm to it. I would still come back to it if I was on a different trip. Staff was really friendly, and had an amazing un-interrupted view of Mount Fuji, and shoji lake. The view makes up the rest of the small things. "
