"The property is in the first and second floors of a prince's palace from the 1800's. The ceilings are beautiful with original chandeliers. There is a lift. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us. The room was creatively adapted to allow a bathroom. Breakfast pastries changed every day allowing us to try new tastes.."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. While they don't have reception staff 24/7, they are easily reachable on Whatsapp and very responsive. They send detailed instructions ahead of time on how to get into the building and into your room. While the room is small, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. The entire building is just so pretty. There's plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Mariana was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so that...

"Clean and spacious single room, had everything I needed. Location was really good - walking distance to Ramiro’s, Martin Monitz (Tram 28) and a short hike up to Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. A fantastic Portuguese souvenir/goods shop called A Vida Portuguesa is right in front of the building. A bit noisy with nightlife in the neighbourhood so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper."

"Great location and very nice rooms. The hotel is very close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff was very accommodating and spoke excellent English for those like me with limited Portuguese language skills. We were able to be dropped off and picked up at the door from our taxi."

"My disappointment is not for the hostel itself. The Bridge is a very neat hostel, with a good bedroom, good breakfast, and good location. My disappointment is for those 4 women who stayed this hostel on March 31. This hostel is no smoking, not they just smoked, drank, and talked loudly at the 1F balcony until 2 am. Shame on these 4 women!"

"Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Close to the beach, train station and historic downtown. Appreciate the care by our host Luciano. Breakfast was 6€ per person at the small cafe across the street (in partnership with the hotel). Best freshly squeezed orange juice! Would highly recommend!"
