"great location views out to sea, over the harbour and the Abbey - comfy bed with choice of pillows - well appointed bathroom - looked fairly new - good sized shower with lovely smelling shower gel in the dispenser -good breakfast ( asked for poached eggs - came in good time and were "perfect" ) real beer ( Timothy Taylors Landlord ) in the bar -all staff on duty through our visit were very professional efficient and polite -would recommend, will visit again -thanks "

"Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. Excellent breakfast and bar snacks. All staff from cleaning, reception, bar and breakfast room extremely friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the spa but looked nice and very popular. Paid for parking at back of hotel but TBH the parking at the front...

"Stayed one night. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly hotel, couldn’t smell dogs or see dog hair etc in rooms. Decorated nicely and good value. Walking distance to beaches and local bight street, train station etc "

"Amazing staff, super helpful. Breakfast included was well prepared and tated great. Facilities were great. Down side room 30 single room very small and clostraphobic would not recommend and would opt for a larger room nect time. Exterior looks a bit dated and drab. Overall I would still recomend for a couple of nights in Redcar just avoid the single rooms."

"Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again ."
