"Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. "

"One night stay en route to Whitby 2 rooms booked. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our rooms. Rooms were very spacious and clean and had all we required. We went down to the bar for food and drinks the food was very good and enjoyed by the three of us. We enjoyed the evening with the locals and our host who made us all feel very welcome. "Lovely well furnished bed and breakfast. Lovely room with seating area, tea/coffee and snacks. Lovely en-suite shower room with toiletries. Hearty breakfast available too. Good location and parking. Very good value. Would recommend."

"I found hotel nice clean no friles tv did not work no coffee or tea or milk but did have a ketle and two cups and no on sweat forcilites just a sink in room therr eas a barth and toilet just down hall which was Clean which was no problime to me I had a grate sleep in bed the next time I go to redcar i will be stopping at the same hotel just loved it thanks for having me there."

"We really enjoyed staying at Haven Crest. We were made to feel welcome and we liked the location. It is quiet and close to the coast and there was a pub nearby for dinner. Breakfast was very nice."

"We had a fabulous stay here. The property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size with a nice, spacious bathroom and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, good choices and quality. Tina was the icing on the cake, a great host, friendly, warm and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend a stay at Powys Lodge and we hope to return before long."

"Loved the B&B, owners were friendly, rooms clean and it is such a quaint setting. Stone throw away from train station. Food was lovely. Set in a small village so it’s quiet. It is quite hilly so be aware if you have mobility issues. "

"It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. "
