"Art at the front desk was and is a blessing. His kindness, warmth, and he was very welcoming. My vehicle broke down last Friday heading to Loveland from Houston TX and we were devastated. We were stranded here in Trinidad (we never been here) and I used up all of my AAA tows trying to get my vehicle fixed. Art went over and beyond to make sure my sonand I. He even called his mechanic to fix my vehicle and his mechanic came to the hotel driving from Weston. Our experience here was great. Thank you Art! More than Great customer service!"

"This has become our go to hotel as we travel between Central Texas and Colorado. The hotel is very easy to get to and you can’t beat the green chili. They serve for breakfast. This is our third stay with this La Quinta and we won’t book anywhere else"

"Beautiful historic home just steps away from downtown. Very well restored. Joy greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. Located up on a hill plus we were on the second floor, the views were incredible. Would definitely stay here again. On a side note, this home is for sale and they no longer provide breakfast. The Las Animas Grill has excellent breakfast. "

"The front desk young lady was so incredibly helpful. We had a flat tire and she found someone to help pump it up and gave us directions to Walmart so that we could get it fixed. She and her brother were so kind and pleasant. We were truly grateful."
