"Very convenient location right near the main square. Downside was i could hear the snake charmers constantly from the hotel. The rooftop is great to sit in the sun and have tea. Easy to walk to most of the sights. The central location is handy but comes with the downsides. I woke up early before dawn and leaving the hotel for a walk felt unsafe. I saw an asian girl standing outside waiting for her taxi scared stiff. If your not alone I think its much better."

"I enjoyed my stay at Riad Ksar Anika. It’s located on a quiet road, away from, but close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. I walked everywhere. The service was great, with the reception staff going as far as providing me with a full lunchbox after I had told him during my checkout that I was going to take a bus to Essaouira later that day. "

"Some reviews are very negative but I don’t understand how. The staff is SOOOO friendly. They let me check in 4 hours early with no charge, they did my laundry for me, even though it’s not a typical service, I stayed in two different rooms (I had two separate reservations) and both of them were very clean and cute. They even put flowers all over your room! Security was great and they got to know my face. But at first asked to see my room card when entering the property, which is how it should be....

"The property was well located but just outside the hustle and bustle of the main shopping area. The Rijad was very well kept and the service was excellent and they couldn’t do enough for us. The Free Hammam was a good benefit and having not had one before would highly recommend having a go."
