"It was fine for what we needed, a room to sleep in after a concert at Anfield and before our early morning train. We booked the lodge well aware of the neighbourhood and the condition of the property. 25 mins walk from Anfield. To be honest, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and warm and there was a little welcome tray with biscuits. The only issue was that there were no towels and we had to request them."

"Booked 3 night stay, arrived to a property that looks to be in disrepair. Rubbish in the garden and overgrown. Opened the door to the accommodation and was immediately floored by the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. 10mins of being inside the property my clothes stank of cigarettes. The property details clearly show ‘smoke free’ Whilst looking around I noticed what appears to be human ‘snot’ wiped up the wall under the TV. "Property had everything you needed,very scenic location, lovely old pub at the top of the lane and good bus service to get about if you dont want to drive highly recommended"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. This is a little 3 bed terraced house on a main road, there is a large green across the road and a co-op about 1 minutes walk away. It has a cosy little living room with smart TV and a kitchen with a dishwasher and there’s a little garden. There’s a downstairs toilet and upstairs shower room and parking is on the drive outside. The house is clean and just lovely. Will definitely be back. Thank you Mark. "

"Great place to stay with good travel links. Basic but clean and very comfortable! Owner in good communication too. Cooking facilities weren’t the best (oven kept smoking) but informed the owner and they responded quickly to say they would look into it. Thank you!"
