"The best metro beach in Australia is Glenelg. I have lived in Coogee, been a life saver in Manly and Dee Why, I have been up and down the east coast and the west coast. Sure there are beaches that are more remote, but the activity in Glenelg is just right. Always something to do, but not so crowded it becomes a hassle. "Was upgraded on arrival. Staff lovely. Everything new and clean. Only slight negative I can think of is lack of car parking on site which means a bit of a trek to alternate space. Fine in summer and daylight savings but wouldn’t like to do it in winter. Overall lovely experience "

"A good price and close to the airport but disappointing that the lift was out of order and we had to carry our 20 kilo's international luggage up a spiral staircase, also our room was the first one next to the secure door from the foyer so could hear it banging shut several times throughout the night and people dropping there key's in the metal key deposit box"
