Everywhere you go within 20-30 minutes is a delight for the history, art, music collector, foodie, entertainment, wine, distillery, brewery, or shopping fanatic...a delightful home and one we hope to visit again!"

"Harper’s Ferry is amazing and the property is in the heart of it. Walk to the historical sites or Trail store. Park and ride is less than 5 mins to catch train to DC. "Unfortunately we happened to stay when there was a wind storm in the county so we lost power, water and heat for the night. We texted the host to check on candles and/or flashlights but were told to “just use our phones”. (Not really an option when you’ve been traveling all day and phones are almost dead). "We hosted Thanksgiving weekend at the house and it perfectly accommodated our large group as well as the varying ages (31-89). House is well organized and amenities were all as described. Plenty of dishwater and glasses for a large group although if you are hosting a large meal bring some disposable platters and a cocktail shaker. "Had a wonderful couple of nights here for a last minute getaway. The house is pristine, exactly as pictured, and in essentially perfect condition. The location is great for walking into town or hiking the trail, and very quiet at night.While we didn't cook, the kitchen is incredibly well-equipped w/ pans, dishes, basic spices, coffee, tea, etc. It would have been comfortable and functional for a much longer stay. "I come to Frederick a lot and so have stayed at many of the VRBO properties. This property is the best property I have seen in Frederick in terms of comfort and aesthetic appeal. Everything was super nice and classy from the linens to the dishware. It is in an excellent location within a short walk to Market street and the canal. The host is really nice and very accommodating. I strongly recommend it especially if you want to be downtown."
