"My fiancé and I had a great weekend at robins nest! The cottage is so cute and so clean and we felt very comfortable there! We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the hut tub! We did some hiking at local trails and enjoyed dinner out both nights. The cottage is quiet and peaceful. We had a very relaxing weekend. The host is very responsive and helpful. "

"River Views Lavender Farm was an exceptional place to stay! Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 very happy and friendly dogs! The room was very comfortable and met all our needs. We opened up the windows and enjoyed listening to the sound of the river below and admiring the beauty all around. "My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. "I love this property. I came for a return visit, so I knew what to expect. We enjoyed wine by the firepit each night. Thank you! The accommodations are quaint yet top notch. The host family is generous, communicative and accommodating and also respectful of the privacy that we wanted. I book well in advance to make sure I get the date I want to see the Fall colors--there is nowhere better to do this! Thank you!! "

"We enjoyed our stay. The proximity to Frederick and Harper’s Ferry is very convenient.
