"The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery."

"You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. "The old school house has been very well updated. I was a little surprised that there was a road right in front of the property as from the description I was expecting to be a little more isolated. The road is a benefit for getting around, and a negative if you were expecting more seclusion. Angus and Willa were great hosts and helped with any needs we had. Loved exploring the area around Ford and would definitely return! Thanks for a great stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. Olwen was excellent in the office assisting us with places to go sightsee. The only criticism I have is that the electricity was very expensive for just a week."
