"Beautiful, spacious, grand house, but warm, welcoming and well equipped for nine of us, with two beds to spare!! Art Nouveau features - I would love to find out more about its history. It also has a serving hatch and room service bells, if you can manage to fit your butler in the boot of your car!! Laundrey and kitchen facilities.excellent. "

"Lovely big warm & cozy house, communal space was great. Some bedrooms were awkward due to positioning of sinks in each one but the beds were very comfortable. The dining room looked bigger in photographs, but we did get everyone around the table...but no-one could move. Instructions for ovens & dish washer would have been useful. Area was gorgeous but no walks from the house. I had to chase up an email response from the agent, and had difficulty getting details ie regarding address and check...

"We all wished we could have stayed longer! Stunning location, warm toasty home, comfy beds, games room and heated pool were the making of the holiday for young and not so young! "If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Can’t wait to come back."
