"Grand Hotel Saint Michel is a wonderful small hotel in the Latin Quarter. I stayed there during a cold spell in January, and the hotel provided a warm and comfortable respite. My room was large, clean, and spacious. The morning breakfast was very good, comprised of a wide choice of hot and cold items. The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of Notre Dame, Pantheon, and Luxembourg Gardens. After a long day of walking around Paris, I slept very well at night, however, if you are a light sleeper I would encourage you to avoid the first floor near the elevator and lobby where there is some evening conversation."

"This hotel is within the Latin Quarter, about 5-10 minutes from the Notre Dame Cathedral. The location is excellent. Its within a quiet area and i felt safe walking around the area late at night. The staff are really lovely and very helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. The continental breakfast was really good. The choice was great and the food was fresh. The room I had was quite small. This was fine for me as I was a solo traveler and not spending much time in there. If I were to visit Paris again, I would certainly stay here again."
