"My first time at Winckley and it was amazing. I dont think i will stay anywhere else when staying in Preston. The rooms are immaculate and very lovely. Great beds and amenities. Staff were incredible as i was staying in another room the second night with friends who made another booking. The hotel offered to bring my bags into the room for me, and also gave me a free upgrade to move me closer to the second room. Mia was very helpful with all of this, and made the trip so easy. "

"My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking...

"A really lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented throughout and very comfortable and clean rooms. I had a very large walk in shower which was perfect and I genuinely couldn't fault anything from the moment I walked in, to walking out. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, food was cooked to perfection. "

"Hotels.com allowed us to make this booking when this hotel has gone into liquidation a while ago, very disappointing to travel 1 hour and half to get their and its closed. No one to let us know before hand."
