"This hotel is only 5 to 10 mins walk from Karlsplatz underground station so ideally dituated. There was some road works going on in the area which created a bit of noise and mess but Hotel Erzherzog Ranier was an oasis of calm. Breakfast was lovely the staff were friendly, my room was clean and had good facilities. The hotel has a quiet grandeur and i woud recommend it to anyone. There are steps in the hotel that cant be avoided so my not be suitable to those with mobility issues "

"Great choice for this solo traveller - stayed in the female dorm Rm 425 which is huge. Super clean, comfortable beds. Great location as very walkable to most sights eg 20 min to Kunsthistoriche Museum, similar to the Belvedere. Guest kitchen was clean with space in the fridge (they’re gd at throwing stuff out so do label your food properly), and just enough crockery to cook stuff. Buy your own oil and pepper (there was free salt when I was there). There’s a supermarket (Hofer aka Aldi) literally...

"Basic boutique hotel in an old building. Room is not too spacious but good enough for 2 ppl. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is a bit small but clean. Breakfast buffet is good with hot and cold food items. Situated just across the main train station and walking distance to subway and tram stations. 3 subway stations from Innerstadt. Overall it’s a decent place to stay. "
