The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the rooms do not have a deadbolt, chain, or other way for someone inside the room to lock the room so that a hotel employee with a key cannot enter. "Beautiful property surrounded by trails to hike in the forest. Really unique lodge we were very glad we stayed. Plus was the spa and lovely outdoor hot tubs. While the meals were okay but not great, we enjoyed the social hour and meeting the other guests. Lodge rooms were smaller than expected. Beware that it is a long windy drive in and out of the hotel. "

"Lovely private room off it's own entrance way. Plenty of room for parking. The room was already heated for my arrival on a very cold and wet evening!"

"everything is perfect except for the latest check out time is 10am. 3pm-10am is not enough for enjoy the stay. Another issue is there is no walk-in bathroom in the room. Always enter to the wrong room in the evening."
