"Room was tired and needing refurbishment. The bathroom needs the tiles to be cleaned particularly the grouting heavily soiled by water stains. Ironing board broken and iron unable to set appropriate temperature on setting. TV remote unable to change volume. Paint work walls around windows needs attention. "

"Staff from at Gowings were incredible. There was a stand out though, I think his name was Jackson. Very knowledgeable, great humour and made us feel at home. Our only issues were with the room. Our towels were stained, the fridge had a strong odour and also had an open carton of milk in there. "

"Classy hotel near Central Station and the museums. I think the room is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at in a place at this price point. The styling, the lighting, the little extras (record player, guitar, great craft beer in the minibar), and the soundproof paneling all made my stay memorable. Highly recommend this place."

"The staff were fantastic, efficient, attentive and helpful. The suite was comfortable, spacious and luminous. Nevertheless, the room needed a bit details in the dusty cleaning department, for ex the nightstand and lamp´s bases were dusty. Also if this is a 5 star hotel, where´s the SPA? It needed a SPA. Besides that, the hotel is in the perfect location to move around Sydney easily. When I am back in Sydney I will stay here again for sure. Five starts to the Reception´s staff. "

"I had left behind some clothes in the bathroom when I checked out. Called the hotel and requested them to check. They promptly called me back and arranged to send the clothes to Brisbane from Sydney. The people I spoke with through this process were extremely friendly and helpful, making it very easy for me."
