However, there were two issues during our stay: 1) As a family of 4, we booked two rooms. "Really lovely hotel. You needed to request a kettle and return it at check out. Where’s the coffee machine was in situ. They offered a fridge with complimentary drinks, but they were standard, I have food intolerances which meant that half the drinks were of no use to me. So it would have been better to have a choice. The swimming pool and spa was lovely. But most of the sauna and steam rooms were for access of 16+ and nude, which wasn’t ideal for a single mother. My daughter is only 8. The...

"The location of this lodge, at the base of the Eiger mountain as well as Grindelwald terminal was perfect! My daughter and I had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant served delicious food and this all made our first visit to Switzerland a memorable one. We will be back! "
