Average hotel, not quite good value. Small rooms and bathrooms, uncomfortable beds and pillows, the bunk bed it's too high and not very secure for a child to sleep in. Exaggerated rules like no bringing food and eating in the rooms, eating all that you take on your place at the breakfast. Breakfast very basic. Very hot in the room and not being able to adjust the heat, we had to sleep with the window open. Mainly friendly staff, a few not smiling at all. Overall, we felt a little stressed out.

It’s quite near from the Interlaken West station, and you can take a bus or walk. The staffs are very nice, and the breakfast is delicious.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and loved it! Really helpful staff and a great location that is both very walkable and an easy bus ride to Wildeswil (which was much easier than walking to Interlaken Ost for the train). The room was clean, big, had a coffee machine. Breakfast was great and I definitely recommend you try the Hungarian restaurant two doors down (Hoppla Bistro). I would definitely stay here again.

Our initial impressed of the hotel was okay. The room is tiny but looks clean. The surprise came after we got into the bed at night --- the blanket was damp! There was no hotel staff on duty. We had a very unpleasant night due to the damp blanket and did not sleep well because of it.

We loved our stay at the Derby Hotel! Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! Lots of options with fruit, cheese, meat, breads and rolls, and many options for juice and hot drinks. We enjoyed our patio. The room was very comfortable. It is a short walk to the park and many dining and shopping options. We would love to stay at the Derby Hotel the next time we are in Interlaken!

Our stay at the hotel was mostly positive. The breakfast was good, and the majority of the staff were friendly, professional, and wore name tags, which added a nice touch of hospitality. However, the experience at check-in left much to be desired. The gentleman who assisted us was not very friendly and often responded with sarcastic looks and remarks. When we inquired about the heating, he dismissively said, 'We don't have heat,' which felt unhelpful. Despite that, the rest of the staff were polite and accommodating. The rooms, while quite small, were clean and well-maintained. Overall, we would recommend staying here, but considering the price point, there are other comparable options available.

Overall a good place to stay. The rooms were quiet and the breakfast was good. Not the most convenient location within interlaken, but they do provide tickets for public transportation around the city.

Great location. Staff nice apart from 1 who was sarcastic and rude. Ramona was really helpful. Internet went down one evening and wasn't back following morning. Staff member initially said it was working and then after an hour when others complained, she said it was the router. She said at end I hope you can sleep without the internet.Ramona on the other hand did everything she could to help the following morning and even offered her personal phone to use

We enjoyed our two day stay here. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the breakfast was excellent. They offered a variety of foods, juices, breads and have a great coffee machine. Plus, they even made fresh scrambled eggs. We’d stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay. Nothing spectacular. For the price per night I paid, it’s almost the same as booking in the Grand Hotel in Geissbach. The only good thing was that they accommodated the four of us with kids in the bunkbed.
