"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"

"Woww is all i can i say about our stay. We had a fabulous night. Peter was just the best host ever. He has a wonderful caring nature and really delivered a wonderful experience. The hotel is gorgeous and probably the best comfortable room we have ever stayed in. To top it all off the breakfast was astounding with a huge selection of continental fare. "Lovely warm welcome from owners and their dogs. Enjoyed the quirky decor and excellent breakfast menu. Very comfortable bed. Attractive garden area.
