"We stayed in one of the family suites... top floor. They are set up like a loft and our (young) teenage kids loved it. The view from the top floor window is pretty cool ad well. Great value for money, grocery store and parking are basically around the corner. We would absolutely return. Only downside... beds are very, very firm, in case that matters!"

Once hotel was found, it was easy to park in the public car park and not too badly priced per day. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough and the cleaning staff are friendly. "Location was perfect, able to walk to all main sites, hotel just off main market square and canal with boat trips 1 min away. Staff at hotel excellent. Only minus if staying in guest house is there are no lifts and two flights of stairs but rooms are lovely."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Botaniek. The owner was extremely accomodating and even took us, in his own car, to the train station when our taxi failed to turn up very early one morning. Brilliant! It is an old property, like most others, but spotlessly clean. Negatives? The carpet in the bedroom was really showing signs of wear and the bath towels really needed replacing as they were extremely thin in places and one even had a large hole in it. "What a beautiful property to visit Bruges! It was so quiet and secluded but near all the sights. Our room was so spacious and had a balcony that we enjoyed tea on in afternoon. The bathroom and bedroom was luxurious! Immanuel was a fantastic host and the breakfast was so delicious and fresh. He even sat down with us and the map to help us find the places we were interested in. Highly recommend "
