"All of pools were quite cold-- I was sold on this property because it said it had a hot tub. The hot tub was located in the spa area and only accessible for an extra $35/day. Other than that, the property is absolutely stunning and one of a kind. Rooms were very comfortable and modern. Excellent service."

"The most serene and relaxing hotel I’ve visited! The gardens surrounding the hotel are gorgeous and the food at the restaurant it absolutely delicious! Rooms are spacious with a huge tub to relax in and a firm bed. I would come back in an instant!"

"What a fantastic place. If you are looking for a special spot in Madeira to call home for a few nights, this is it. Marco and Maria were incredibly gracious and accommodating hosts and the food they cook is delicious! The location is also superb, with stunning views and a very private feeling. The amenities are also top notch (we loved the cliffside infinity pool and sauna!!). You will leave feeling rejuvenated and wanting to come back for more! Highly recommended "

"Property was beautiful. But it is a very busy location and parking between 10:00-19:00 is not free, you might find a free spot about 2km away but good luck w that during busy times. Kept getting expedia email request for personal email because lever insists on sending pictures instead of text instructions. Took 1hr to get into unit just to get correct address and correct unit number, too many message exchanges just to get inside. Entry should be simpler. Once inside all was well. "

"We had 10 beautiful days that flew by. Sunshine alternated with clouds, but that was great for us, because it was not mega hot. Nevertheless we used the pool every day and made many excursions on the island with the car. The pool was clean and the villa well equipped. The six of us had a nice vacation and would come there again."
