"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, located in a peaceful area that's just a short walk from the oceanfront and not far from the town center. There are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby. "It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy. "
