"What an amazing location! and to have the view of the cathedral from our room, that was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We even got a complimentary ride to the airport which we didn't expect. The hotel is being updated but you can't beat the location and the staff. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed in the family apartment which is across the road from the main hotel. It was spacious, clean with all amenities you will require. We still had access to the hotel facilities. From offering recommendations on places to dine or drink, to offering umbrellas on a rainy day, and water after a long one, the staff was incredibly attentive. "The staff couldn’t be nicer or more professional - the best I’ve ever had at any hotel! The room was recently renovated and was exceptional. A huge bath tub, huge comfy bed, nice linens, wonderful hibiscus water and cava upon check in. You should definitely stay here, it’s super close to the water and beautiful!"

"The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located. The rooms were larger than expected and extremely comfortable. However, what stood out the most was the service. The staff was warm and welcoming and beyond helpful. They anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the Almanac for anyone visiting Barcelona. It is an absolute pleasure to stay there. "

"We loved our stay at Grand Hyatt Barcelona! Beginning from the wonderful welcome at front desk from Clara, and continuing to the lovely breakfast and spa facilities, we couldn’t have chosen a better location for our short city break. Our hotel room had lovely mod cons making our stay comfortable and the area was accessible being relatively close to the airport (20 mins) and easily accessible to tourist sites by taxi, metro and bus. The cleanliness of this hotel is to be noted. All requests we had were swiftly resolved and the staff should really be applauded - from the door men to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and the cleaners - everyone was courteous and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
