"this property is a bit far from town and main attractions but worth every penny staying there. the staff is great, very professional and amicable making our stay very pleasant and easy. it gives peace and quiet in a perfect environment mixing nature with modern facilities. this is one of the greatest hotels we stayed in. "There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"
