"A great stay here in Crete, if you’re planning to come here from Heraklion I suggest renting a car (around 1 hour and 30 minutes from there). The resort is stunning, all new and with attentive staff. The food offered at the buffet was great, many options and with excellent desserts. "Our stay at Mythos Palace Resort was delightful. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, especially Andreas at the bar and Arystea at guest services. "This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs).
