"Valantis and staff couldn't be kinder and helped me when my husband had a fall. It is a lovely property with amazing views. Lighting in the kitchen/living room could be improved. Bathroom fittings are a little tired but I blame previous guests, not the management!"

"This property is faultless. High specification, super clean, amazing views, almost private beach, lovely pool, completely quiet. Housekeeper was absolutely fantastic, serviced apartment multiple times during our stay, cleaned pool everyday, she was really great! We had an awesome time here, the apartment cannot be faulted. Perfect if you want to be completely removed from everyday life! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Viola. It has a lovely orchard at the back full of pomegranate and olive trees. There is a view of the sea from the sea from the pool. It’s easy to access Frangkocastello beaches and also the ones around Chora Sfakion. The villa was well stocked with everything you need including toiletries etc. So we didn’t need to do much shopping. Nikos was super helpful in advising on swimming places and tavernas. We also had a lovely drive up into the mountains near Anopoli. The location of the villa is perfect if you want uncrowded beaches in summer and crystal clear seas. Bliss."

"Villa Spiros is one of three lovely villas around a 5 minute drive to Frangokastelo. The local beach is a beautiful, natural one with knarled trees under which you can shade from the sun. It’s a 5 minute stroll from the villa and a wonderful place to see the sunset. The swimming pool was clean and a perfect cooling off temperature. The villa is the closest to the mountains of the three and views of the mountains are fabulous. Sea views are also beautiful. The village of Frango Kastelo is spread out over a mile or so but well served with 3 supermarkets, bakeries, tavernas and beaches. The house was beautifully clean and we were left some wine and local treats. The air conditioning works well and we were kept cool at night which was lovely. We were 5 - so used the sofa bed in the lounge which is a wide single size sofa bed. Our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend Spiros Villa, but there are a couple of things that would improve this lovely house - Unfortunately, the mattresses are a little dated now and sadly not the most comfortable. Perhaps some good mattress toppers would be enough to alleviate the problem for the time being? The only table outside is a small coffee table. The patio and garden is quite large and there’s plenty of space to eat outside so it’s a shame there isn’t a take and chairs to use outside for eating. It would be great if local agents could pass these comments on to the owners for the benefit of other visitors. 😃 Thank you"

"What a BEAUTIFUL place! We stayed in a suite room with the most incredible sea view, I want to wake up there every day! The staff were all incredibly friendly, Yiannis (1&2), Maria and Andreas in particular were amazing! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and helped with sorting parking and luggage. Our room was gorgeous, a small living area with sofa/single bed, fridge and dressing table, then a small bathroom and then beautiful bedroom with balcony over looking the harbous and small beach, we could have spent hours watching the boats going in and out. The food in the hotel is amazing and the coffee and cocktails fantastic (Andreas makes a mean coffee and even meaner cocktail!) In a three week trip this was our favourite spot and we are already planning a return! We took the small ferry from the harbour outside the hotel (not the main port) for the day to Loutros and sweet water which was incredible! Would recommend avoiding the weekends for this though as it was very busy! Really wish we had had longer here."
