"I booked a 1 night stay for my wife and daughter and they have not stopped raving about what a fabulous hotel The Shard is. Staff absolutely lovely and the room and the views are apparently stunning. They were made to feel so welcome at Check in. They were really excited about the stay and expected the hotel to be great, but so far it has exceeded their expectations !!"

"Not quite a 5 star hotel. Lacking in a few areas that would make it that. Sauna and steam room both not working properly. Rooms very small and the bathroom was lacking in quality, tiles with some mould on. Bed was really comfortable and paid the extra for a view which isnt worth it, you just get a view of the train track below which despite being high up is quite noisy. "The location of this property was absolutely excellent. It is right at the south end of the tower bridge. It is about a seven minute walk from Borough Market, which is an interesting market and has tons of food options. It is close to a couple of small grocery stores to be able to get water and other essentials. I stayed in a junior room, and it was very spacious, especially for London. It was very very quiet. The staff were helpful. The only minor inconvenience was that the sink in the bathroom...

"AMAZING SERVICE! Was greeted by a very friendly member of staff on arrival and every part of our stay was incredible. We stayed here due to the convenient location this hotel is based, very close to concerts at the O2. Took about 15 minutes in a taxi to get there so very convenient location. Amazing stay overall!"

"Impeccable facilities and service. Area was 2 or 3 miles from the central part of town, but the Underground station is right there. I prefer that it wasn't as crowded as the real center of town. I would definetely sta there again!"
