"The room looked exactly like the pictures. I liked the layout of the room where the toilet is in a separate space from the shower area and had its own little sink. "Nine Tree in Insadong is located in the heart of Seoul, minutes walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace, right next to Insadong shopping street. Plenty of good food within minutes of the hotel. "Great location and place to stay. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was not good though, and shower drain didn’t drain well. I was also surprised that in a new building they want guests to put used toilet paper in the trash can? I’ve never had to do this at a hotel in korea, and I have lived here over 10 years. Also could hear people laughing in the room next door at midnight so not exactly soundproof. And the heat was at 24, which is just too hot for me, and there was no way to lower it. "

"Staff were very considerate and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but good. The rooms seems to be designed in the style that caters to traveling Japanese business men. My room was small, but enough room for one traveler looking for a clean and safe place to sleep. "We missed the hotel the first time around as Myeongdong is very crowded after 5pm and this hotel is lodged in a little no exit alley between an Olive Young and the big Royal hotel, on the 15 floor of the building, near the cathedral. The room was very tiny, looking like the picture on Expedia with a TV and a fridge. We had a private bathroom with towels, toilet, sink and shower but the whole bathroom was the shower. Nice room and excellent service

"The room was very beautifully decorated and the kids adored the room. When we checked out today, we asked the reception if we could buy the soft toys in the room, the lady was saying it was not for sale. She then surprised the kids by giving them two small soft toys (from the same theme). I did not notice her name as we were rushing for the airport. Thank you to the pretty lady receptionist for the nice gesture (happened at 5:30am on 28 Dec 2024). "
