"Fabulous location… a short walk across the footbridge to Memorial Drive for the tennis. Many players & support staff were staying at the hotel. We received an upgrade 🎉 we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Stunning views over the river & beyond. The hotel was quiet & staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The included breakfast in the restaurant was excellent… great choice and fresh. You could even make your own juice from an assortment of fresh fruits & vegetables. The hotel in close...

"A nice, historic building with friendly staff and an impeccable location. The botanic gardens adjoining are a real treasure. The food was a letdown though - high tea service was slow, we had to ask to be served after 30 minutes (even to choose tea). The sandwiches were made on stale bread. Surprisingly poor since the Verandah restaurant is highly rated. Room was well laid out and practical."

"What an amazing place!!!!!! We only stayed one night, but wished it was so much more. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with beautiful smiles, stunning wine made by Le Mas and when we were ready a guided tour of the elegant property! The beds were like sleeping on clouds, everything was available for our stay. The breakfast was a feast and my dietary requirements were more than catered for. We will most definitely be back as it was probably one of my favourite hotels to stay...
