"Second receptionist warmer than 1st. Maybe the offer of calling us when the room was ready instead of asking us to call to see if the room was ready would have been more efficient/going the extra mile. Food was lovely, lovely village location. Shame the sewage works was going on whilst we visited but not hotels fault. "This is a lovely place, immaculately clean. I would have given 5 stars but sadly it was very noisy due to being next to road, the bed and pillows were also rock hard (that’s just a personal preference liking a softer one!) But location was great, rooms are huge! I would return another time (with my own pillow) "

"It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Blaisdon House. Our room with the four poster bed was beautiful and charming, we felt truly relaxed. Breakfast was set in a stunning dining room, the attention to detail of the table setting was wonderful and very much enjoyed. Choice of breakfast was also great, with classics and modern dishes to choose from. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We know we will be back when we visit the area again. "The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming.
