"Hotel was a great location and the bar was great. Breakfast was nice but the full English could be bigger, you get one of everything, 1 egg, 1 hash brown etc… What let the hotel down for us was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was dated and unclean, the shower needed a good scrub and the kettle, coffee machine etc in the room were covered in dust. "This is a lovely place, immaculately clean. I would have given 5 stars but sadly it was very noisy due to being next to road, the bed and pillows were also rock hard (that’s just a personal preference liking a softer one!) But location was great, rooms are huge! I would return another time (with my own pillow) "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Blaisdon House. Our room with the four poster bed was beautiful and charming, we felt truly relaxed. Breakfast was set in a stunning dining room, the attention to detail of the table setting was wonderful and very much enjoyed. Choice of breakfast was also great, with classics and modern dishes to choose from. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We know we will be back when we visit the area again. Thank you for a special stay."

"Lovely house, room was a good size, comfortable bed, decent linen. Good onsuite shower. Breakfast preordered and delivered to room as still have Covid restriction in place. Parking available but a bit tight getting in and out if other cars there. Hosts friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Definitely better than Doubletree Hotel down the road and half the price. "
