"Awesome location! You feel like you have your own secret passage to home in the middle of everything! All the major sights of York are easily walkable. Weirdly, Expedia didn’t give us a street number which made it hard for us and our taxi driver to find. The room was very spacious, with everything we needed. The shower was awesome. We were greeted warmly and appreciated being able to leave our bags for a while after we checked out. "

"The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled. We bought some descaler but it needs several attempts so we had to use a pan to heat water for drinks. The person in the accommodation...

"We stayed for a few days and found that this lovely place was full of historic character and the bed was absolutely lovely and i just could not wait to get back to just have a really good night's sleep. "Very comfortable, well presented and well equipped apartment. The only small issue is the mould/mildew in the shower area which we appreciate may be down to the use of eco friendly products but it does spoil the presentation of the shower area"
