"Couldnt fault anything apart from we were in room 131 and the privacy in the hot tub lacked a bit. Everyone that passed either on foot or in a car were gawping at us. A non clear banister would stop this. My wife felt a little bit awkward walking to and from the tub. "

"I visited with my wife and daughter for a chill out weekend after a busy first quarter. This hotel was ideal with stunning views of lake Windermere and the busy boating area of Bowness. We walked 20 mins into Bowness on an evening (torch required for return leg) and during the day. We relaxed around the hotels lake, and I must stay the weather played its part too. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was excellent, breakfast was one of the best we had too, plenty of choice, nothing was too much...

"Our stay was excellent in every way. From the moment of our arrival the staff were efficient but also very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother for them. The food was also some of the best we have had anywhere. Our dinner on our Anniversary night was absolutely delicious. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed and the cleanliness of the highest standard. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.We would recommend it unconditionally."

"Fabulous Hotel. So warm comfortable and welcoming. Rooms were high standard. Bath with jets was lovely after a walk. Breakfast....too much to eat and so delicious! Staff attentive and friendly. "
