"- Was 20 min walk from kyoto station - Could walk to lots of places which was nice - Room was a good size, pretty comfy beds. - Can’t use onsen if you have tattoos which I was pretty sad about. I know how most onsens are with tattoos in Japan but I thought a hotel might be more open since it’s for travellers. I didn’t let this affect my rating, since it’s common, but I wanted to point it out to others just in case they were wondering. - Had my favourite pjs of all the hotels we stayed in. -...

"Beautiful property, but the room was tiny, beds and pillows quite uncomfortable. That said the staff were lovely and everything was spotless and in good condition. Great amenities etc. Would stay here again if I had smaller luggage or were travelling alone."
