The lobby food service lady was sweet and so helpful!! Also front entrance security was super sweet!! But I will definitely be going back next time I go to LA!"

And it’s within walking distance of the Hollywood Walk of Fame (I was unimpressed) and the Chinese Theater (which was awesome)."

"The Pierside is uniquely situated right in front of the Santa Monica Pier! I visited during peak tourist season so not surprisingly it took a long to drive in at check-in, get out at checkout. Not a big deal, just be prepared! The hotel itself is brand new, and has a unique beach vibe with boogie board and beach chairs to borrow, and gorgeous lounge areas and bar/restaurants. I loved the layout of my room, it was super cute and well appointed. The bed was very comfy and I got a luscious nights...

"This is a gorgeous and historic hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I came concerned about the safety of the downtown area, but we walked around a lot and had no issues. Fantastic restaurants nearby. We’ll be back!"

"Great hotel with a perfect location. We were at the venue next door for a wedding and within a few steps is the hotel. We were able to check in at midnight & the front desk personnel was nice & helpful. I was worried about all the reviews stating a protest but i can confirm that is no longer the case. We had the opportunity to take advantage of late check out and no noise or activity can be heard."
