"I loved the age of the building, dating in parts from 1470, and fitting in with the historical architecture and atmosphere of Bruges. My spacious room overlooked the canal, which was a treat. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre and a perfect base for exploration on foot. The breakfast buffet selection is excellent. All the staff members I met were extremely helpful and friendly."

"Service and facilities can't be faulted. It was excellent and made my stay enjoyable. Besides the excellent service, it is affordable and well situated, being 10 minutes or so walk from most of the important sights and restaurants. The rail station is also a 15-20min walk away, while a bus stop/interchange is 5 minutes walk away. One downside noted was the strong smell of old sewerage pipes in a section of the corridor immediately after the reception desk. I appreciate that this often can be...
