"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. "So central and with car space, easy to get to and get around Bruges. House was cleanest we’ve ever rented and well equipped with comfortable sitting room and kitchen. Rhonda was easy to communicate with and meet on arrival with lots of useful recommendations. We found the stairs a little steep from upstairs bedrooms to downstairs bathroom. Shower was great!"

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. In 400 m ist man am Strand. 300 m bis zur Küstentram. ZumBäcker 200m. Gewöhnungsbedürftig is die durchsichtige Eingangstür mit Blick auf Schlafzimmer, WC und Bad. Die steile Treppe hinauf in den Wohn- und Essbereich ist sicher schwierig für Menschen die nicht so gut auf den Beinen sind, allerdings gibt es oben eine Sperre damit Kinder nicht herunter fallen können. Müll wir getrennt, was ja normal ist, allerdings muss dieser zu einer 600m...

"My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

"We spent a week in the house, discovering the area of De Haan. The house was clean and fitted our needs perfectly. We chose it also because of the garden as we travelled with our dog. The beach is less than 2km away which makes for a nice walk. The communication with the owner was easy, he got back to us quickly. The only problem we occurred was with a wi-fi which we had trouble to connect to. The area is made of holiday houses, it's quiet, dog friendly. Our children also used the shared...

"We visited Bruges in late June/early July. This room was the perfect location. A beautiful location in the center of it all on a tree lined street. Easy walking to all Bruges has to offer. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. I wish every place had this much closet space! It's an old building so the stairs are a bit steep and we're on the older side, so the two of us took up one suitcase at a time and it worked out well. "We arrived on a sunday afternoon when shops are closed but bought some food to bring . Only negative we found was that there were no sheets or duvet covers . Hard to know sizes in advance and shops being closed made it challenging for first night when you travel from far away countries. Most other things available in the house. It has a good electric cookplate ,good size fridge,small freezer compartment. Sofa s are covered with blankets but comfortable. Beds were comfortable but single matresses...

"The location is perfect: away from the high-rise areas that occupy the majority of the Belgian coast and just across the bridge from the dunes. Cottage is well equipped with high-speed wifi included."

All his recommendations were perfect and spot on. Great location for visits to Gent and Bruges and also the coast. Just driving around in the countryside is a plus. "In a residential area near a bus stop and some stores and restaurants. The house is beautiful with a lovely view of the garden from the kitchen. Well stocked, including some local beer, various coffees. Owner very helpful. Highly recommend."

"Heel goed, met uitzondering van de 6 fietsen die zouden aanwezig zijn (daarvan hadden er 3 een platte band), dus waren we verplicht auto te nemen voor bezoeken."

"Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus, was in direkter Nähe zum Strand liegt. Es gibt viele Restaurants in direkter Nähe und trotzdem liegt das Haus sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung bietet alles was man braucht. Einzige Kritik gilt dem offenen Konzept im Badbereich, wo die beiden gut ausgestatteten Bäder nicht durch Türen von den Schlafbereichen getrennt sind."

"Great apartment very spacious breakfast was outstanding"

"The apartment was so nice especially with 3 children, we brought practically everything we needed with us down to towel, the down bulk bed was a bit too low, one have to be careful getting in and out, the blanket stink of sweat, please do wash the blanket, you have to the check-in yourself, the customer service was contacted via email, and they respond almost immediately, nice location 10 minutes walk to the beach, getting around will be better with a car, I would highly recommend."

"Loved this hotel. Walkable from the train station (but difficult with wheeled suitcases due to cobbles). Decorated for Christmas, it was charming. The staff were friendly and helpful, they locked our suitcases up so we could go round Bruges till our room was ready. Room was a good size and had everything we need. Breakfast was great with loads of options, but also almost next door to an amazing breakfast cafe and a patisserie. Would definitely book again."
