"This hotel is convenient for the airport and trams into central Geneva and Cern. The surrounding area is still a bit derelict with a kind of shopping mall with restaurants around the corner. The view from our window was not nice, hence the heavy blinds which were awkward to manage. The temperature was impossible to control with staff telling us it was against regulations for it to be increased or decreased by more than 3 C. Ridiculous! "Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."
