"The hotel was very good, very clean and professional staff. We arrived as a large family and they provided us with a cot, extra blankets and extra water in our room complimentary. The morning breakfast buffet was also very good, the options were very nice. Only critic I would say is that the coffee machine broke down during breakfast and it wasn't to my liking to be honest, coffee was bitter. But overall it was an excellent stay, couldn't fault it. Also we were bit disappointed that we couldn't access the pool as the timings for children cuts off at 7:30pm so please consider extending this. "

"We had an excellent stay, Mohammed greeted us so kindly upon our arrival, the property was situated in a perfect location for commuting to the city, but had a suburban feel (great running), and the building itself is so nicely designed. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Great hotel in a good location for LCA and excel. Good food and able to purchase snacks. Don't pay extra for a view of LCA over the weekend as there are very few flights "

"We have been coming to the Doubletree docklands for years now with our whole family- but In Recent years have been splurging out and booking the junior suites- as they are so worth it! The best thing hands down about this hotel is its location looking out over the river to Canary Wharf. By day you can hear the waves of the tidal Thames lapping at the shore, the sounds of the ferries going past and see the sun glinting off the buildings. I’m from Sydney and it’s the closest I’ve come to -being the other side of the world- to Sydney harbour and the ferries! On a sunny day I can almost imagine I’m back at home on the harbour! The urban beach here adds to that feel, but if you can afford to splurge - the junior suites have balconies that open to the front and look out over the river- it’s gorgeous. The food has by far improved in the restaurant since the last time we came , but in particular the service from the very friendly and hardworking staff is outstanding. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds and In Particular the pillows were really comfortable. The final cherry on the top is that there is a complimentary ferry from Canary Wharf to the hotel dock on the other side- which very soon will be upgraded to being electric! Overall my fave place to stay in London by far 😍"
