"A lovely unique hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. As it was a special birthday and rather last minute booking I tried to use the thermal suite but it was booked up. This was disappointing. The room was comfortable, spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The carpet was a little threadbare in some places although given that the room was rather dark as were the corridors in the hotel then it was not that noticeable. "Great hotel with good views and large rooms, laptop safe, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Housekeeping was hit and miss, some days ok others dirty cups and spoons left in rooms, drain smell from sink, shower drain filling up, dirty bath mat not changed, surfaces not wiped down and room not hoovered all week."
