"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"The best place to stay in Preston. A hidden gem, great value for money. 10-12 minutes walk from the station, the room that I stayed in was very tidy and clean. Host is very friendly and good with responding to messages, clear instructions on checking in. Will definitely come back if I ever need to stay in Preston."

"It’s an old building with a certain charm. It’s a little tired around the edges - certainly in the bedroom. Our bed was very soft and bowed in the middle like a hammock but somehow slept fine - the wine probably helped! The dining room was smart and the continental breakfast basic/limited but functional.
