"The room was ok but the duvets had old stains like blood and other brown things. They don't vacuum very well. The staff are mostly friendly. The hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool are awesome. Weirdly, they have lounge areas that are open for all, however there are no amenities like water or even a water fountain. And if you are hanging out in the lounge at night you'll quickly discover that all restrooms are locked and 3 security people will escort you to one if you need it. Really weird vibe for...

"This is a step-back-in-time kind of hotel, so keeps this in mind with the room lay-outs. We had a double Queen room which was huge and spacious. The bathroom is a tight fit but the height of the shower head is important for us as we are tall. The water pressure was enjoyable. The location feels away from the main drag, but it’s very walkable to restaurants and City Creek and other attractions in downtown SLC. Staff were amazing. We loved our stay and will definitely book again. "
