"The main room was good. Great views and plenty of space to relax. The letdown was the bathroom. It was tiny with very dated fittings and nowhere to put toiletries. It was also at a higher level meaning a really big step down into the main room which was potentially a safety risk."

"We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central.
