"Check in was exceptional with the host helping all our needs and even guiding me to the free car park which I’ve never seen in a city. The breakfast hosts was amazing chatted to my 4 year old and helped make a tray for my 12 year old daughter who wouldn’t get out of bed. The room was clean and comfy. Extra towels was provided and free fruit on offer. "

"There was only one problem the phone in the room was ringing at 12 midnight , the next day it was half one in the night then six o'clock in the morning and seven the same day when we pick it up there was no answer.they said it was a fault but they had problems before but didn't tell us."

"Super friendly and welcoming reception team, speedy check in and explained parking was discounted to £8 for guests. Lovely atrium, and room was a good size, with two double beds and still loads of space for a cot and desk etc. The only negative thing was that the shower curtain smelt foul, and the pillows were very soft which just wasn’t to our preference. "Hotel is in a very good location. An old manor house. The inside of the premises looked like it was refurbished but the outside is in need of TLC & a very good clean. The grounds are lovely. Our bedroom was good apart from tea cups that were not washed. Over all a very nice stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner was good too. Excellent staff with very good customer service. We will visit again if in the area. "

"Nice rooms, very very clean. Breakfast service was speedy and staff were very nice and helpful. Let down: on arrival we were not given full brief on timings of cafe/restaurants. We visited the spa and wanted to have some food straight after, where we asked a member of staff if it was open , they said yes, so we approached and then was told no, we stop serving food. Which is fine but would have been good to know on arrival of hotel, so we could plan our time around it. Other than that,...
